In his lent message, President Marcos emphasized the significance of Holy Week as a time to commemorate the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, urging citizens to delve into spiritual reflection.
He highlighted the importance of contemplating life’s mysteries, seeking revelation, and embracing both joy and sorrow.
Additionally, he encouraged acts of kindness and selflessness, emphasizing the importance of illuminating paths for others.
President Marcos expressed prayers for Filipinos to accept their imperfections and seek the divine within themselves.
As the Holy Week begins, many Filipinos are expected to travel to their hometowns for the long weekend, starting on Maundy Thursday.
