Police in Pasay City seized over 9,000 illegal vape products from two establishments on Tuesday, following a joint operation by the Southern Police District’s Special Operations Unit and the DTI-Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau.
The raid, conducted in Barangay 102, targeted violations of Republic Act 11900, specifically Section 9, which prohibits the promotion of vape products within 100 meters of places frequented by minors.
The confiscated products, valued at approximately P5,147,450, are now under the custody of DTI-FTEB.
RA 11900, enacted in 2022, aims to regulate the sale and distribution of vape products in the Philippines.
