NCAA VOLLEYBALL: BENILDE LEADS SERIES, TARGETS FINALS SPOT

The College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers aim to secure a finals berth as they face the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Lady Altas in Game 2 of their NCAA Season 101 women’s volleyball semifinals series.

The Lady Blazers hold a 1–0 series lead after a five-set victory in Game 1, led by standout performances from Zam Nolasco and Shakaina Lleses.

Nolasco powered the team with 28 points, while Lleses contributed a triple-double in the hard-fought win.

Perpetual Help will look to bounce back behind Shaila Omipon and Jemalyn Menor, while top scorer Cyrille Almeniana hopes to deliver a stronger showing.

A win by Perpetual Help would force a deciding Game 3, while St. Benilde seeks to close out the series and advance to the championship round.
