The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced free rides on MRT‑3 and LRT-2 for PhilHealth cardholders on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
The promotion will run from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to celebrate PhilHealth’s 31st anniversary and National Health Insurance Month.
Commuters must present a physical or digital PhilHealth ID to avail of the free rides.
Passengers are reminded to exit the stations within the designated time to avoid penalties.
The DOTr said the initiative aims to provide convenience and express gratitude to PhilHealth members.
