Illegal vehicle turning was the most common traffic violation in Metro Manila in 2025, followed by unattended illegal parking and disregarding traffic signs, the MMDA reported.
Violations of the number coding scheme and illegal parking were also among the top offenses.
The MMDA urged motorists to follow traffic rules and highlighted its Road Safety Action Plan, which focuses on safer roads, vehicles, users, and post-crash response.
New MMDA General Manager Nicolas Torre III pledged to reduce response times to road crashes to five minutes and clear accidents within 10–15 minutes.
Traffic violations are now monitored through the No Contact Apprehension Policy, allowing motorists to view evidence of their infractions online.
