The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has urged La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) to implement stricter traffic management after recording 1,341 violations near the school in just over a month.
MMDA Chairman Romando Artes said most violations, including illegal parking, obstruction, and unauthorized loading or unloading, were committed during student drop-off and pick-up hours along Ortigas Avenue.
He warned that these recurring infractions worsen congestion on the major thoroughfare and compromise commuter safety despite earlier coordination with the school.
The violations were documented through the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP), which uses cameras to monitor traffic along key Metro Manila roads.
Artes called for tighter internal controls within the school community and closer coordination with MMDA to reduce congestion and ensure public safety.
