Manila has been identified as one of the top five riskiest cities for tourists by Forbes Advisor, which assessed 60 international cities based on crime, personal security, health security, infrastructure, natural disaster, and digital security risks.
Ranking fifth overall, Manila faces significant challenges, including the highest natural disaster risk, the fifth highest personal security risk, and the seventh highest health security risk among the cities surveyed.
The report underscores Manila’s vulnerability to natural disasters and various security concerns, including crime and health infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Caracas in Venezuela was deemed the riskiest city, while Singapore emerged as the safest destination for tourists.
