A fire broke out on Wednesday morning in Sta. Ana, Manila, prompting a swift response from authorities.
The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) reported that the blaze began at around 9:10 a.m. and was raised to the second alarm by 9:17 a.m.
Firefighters immediately responded to contain and extinguish the flames.
As of posting, no further details on the cause or extent of damage have been released.
Investigations are underway to determine the origin of the fire.
