LTO CLARIFIES OWNERSHIP OF SUV WITH CONTROVERSIAL ‘7’ PLATE

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) solved the mystery of an SUV using a “7” protocol plate illegally in the Edsa busway and presented the vehicle’s driver and officials of Orient Pacific Corp. during a press briefing.

The driver, Angelito Edpan, apologized but claimed he did not know his passenger, identified only as an investor.

LTO Chief Vigor Mendoza II stated that Edpan’s license was confiscated and a traffic ticket was issued.

Sen. Raffy Tulfo later suggested the passenger might be related to Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, but this remains unconfirmed.

The LTO continues to investigate the matter.
