The LTFRB has launched a full crackdown on reckless PUV drivers following President Marcos’ call for stricter road discipline, citing recent dangerous incidents in Commonwealth Avenue and Valenzuela.
LTFRB Chair Teofilo Guadiz III vowed to remove undisciplined drivers from the roads, calling them a threat to public safety.
The agency is working with the LTO, MMDA, and LGUs to identify violators and penalize both drivers and their operators.
Repeat offenders risk franchise revocation, and operators who fail to control their drivers may face administrative charges.
Commuters are urged to report reckless drivers through the LTFRB’s hotline or official Facebook page.
