Actress Liza Soberano has shared a new poster for her Hollywood debut film, “Lisa Frankenstein,” in which she stars alongside Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
The poster, reposted from the movie’s Instagram account, features Kathryn and Cole’s characters sitting on a tanning bed that belongs to Liza’s character, Taffy. Liza wrote in the caption, “If you can’t meet your perfect boyfriend… make him.”
The film’s most recent trailer reveals more footage of Liza’s character, Taffy, who is a cheerleader and the supportive step-sister of Kathryn’s titular character.
Screenwriter Diablo Cody praised Taffy as her favorite character in the film, explaining that she wanted to depict her as more than just the standard “mean popular girl.”
Liza expressed her instant connection with Taffy and reiterated that she had a fun time playing the character. Directed by Zelda Williams, “Lisa Frankenstein” is set to be released in Philippine cinemas on February 7, a week before Valentine’s Day.
