Actress and TV host Kris Aquino returned to the Philippines early Friday morning after spending two years in the United States for treatment of her autoimmune disease.
Aquino, known as the “Queen of All Media,” announced her return via Instagram, sharing her battle with multiple autoimmune conditions, including Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
She expressed her need for emotional support from her family and doctors as she prepares to start a new round of treatments.
Aquino’s decision to come home was driven by her need for a supportive environment and continued medical care.
She thanked her supporters and shared that her son Bimby would be flying home with her, highlighting the ongoing fight for her health.
