Senator Imee Marcos called on Ilocanos to unite as she vowed to continue infrastructure, agriculture, and healthcare reforms initiated by her father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Laoag City, she emphasized addressing pressing issues such as rising prices, unemployment, and support for marginalized sectors.
Marcos outlined plans for expanding road networks, providing tax-free fertilizers for farmers, and establishing specialist hospitals in Ilocos.
She also advocated for equal minimum wages between Metro Manila and Ilocos and additional aid for PWDs and single mothers.
