Senator Loren Legarda expressed strong support for the Halal-Friendly Philippines Pavilion at the 3rd Travel Sale Expo 2025, highlighting its role in promoting Halal-certified products from Filipino MSMEs.
She emphasized that Halal initiatives not only respect Muslim cultural traditions but also uphold safety and quality standards appealing to all consumers.
Legarda noted that supporting Halal certification helps Filipino businesses access international markets, generate jobs, and strengthen the country’s global tourism competitiveness.
The pavilion also aligns with the Philippines’ efforts to meet international trade requirements and position the country as a preferred destination for diverse travelers.
The event, held from September 26 to 28 at SM Megamall, is supported by various government and industry partners.
