The Marcos administration aims to achieve full internet connectivity in all public schools, including remote areas, by the end of the year.
President Marcos led a connectivity drive event at Flora A. Ylagan High School in Quezon City, where he interacted virtually with teachers and students from various remote locations.
The event was attended by key officials such as DICT Secretary Henry Aguda, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, and Education Secretary Sonny Angara.
Students and educators from several provinces now benefiting from Starlink internet, also participated in the virtual conference.
The initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide and enhance learning opportunities across the country.
