Senator Bong Go was awarded the Lingkod Bayan Award during the Gawad Pilipino 2025 ceremony at Camp Aguinaldo for his distinguished service to the Filipino people.
The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate excellence, integrity, and selfless public service.
In his acceptance speech, Go said the honor inspires him to continue his healthcare advocacy through initiatives like Malasakit Centers, Super Health Centers, and Regional Specialty Centers.
He is the principal author of the Malasakit Centers Act, which has helped over 17 million Filipinos through 167 centers nationwide.
Go also championed the creation of over 700 Super Health Centers and Regional Specialty Centers to improve access to medical care across the country.
