The ESL One Kuala Lumpur Southeast Asia closed qualifier is set to be an electrifying battleground for four Pinoy Dota 2 teams as they compete for a chance to advance to the main tournament in Malaysia.
Blacklist International, Execration, Geek Fam, and Neon Esports have all secured their spots in the closed qualifier after dominating their respective finals matches in the two rounds of open qualifiers. These teams will be joining Team Aurora, Bleed Esports, and Talon Esports, who were previously invited to the closed qualifier.
Filipino fans are in for a treat as seven out of eight squads in the closed qualifier will feature at least one Pinoy Dota 2 star. The tournament is expected to be fierce and exciting, with the teams battling it out for a chance to represent Southeast Asia in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 main tournament.
The ESL One Kuala Lumpur Southeast Asia closed qualifier will commence on November 16 and run until November 18, 2023. The tournament will follow a double-elimination format, with all matches being best-of-three except for the grand finals, which will be a best-of-five.
The winning team will earn a spot in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 main tournament, where they will face off against some of the best Dota 2 teams from around the world.
