A Stratbase-commissioned Pulse Asia survey shows Filipinos want government action to make food prices more affordable, reduce corruption, and create more jobs.
About 38 percent of respondents ranked lowering food costs as the top priority, followed by tackling corruption (31 percent) and generating employment (21 percent).
The survey highlighted that many Filipinos see corruption as an economic issue, directly affecting prices, public services, and livelihoods.
Stratbase CEO Victor Andres Manhit said the public expects leaders to address economic concerns while ensuring accountability for corrupt practices.
Overall, the findings reflect a demand for tangible economic relief alongside credible anti-corruption measures.
