FILIPINO JET SKIER SECURES PODIUM FINISH AT SEA GAMES 2025

Sabino Czar Manglicmot IV claimed the bronze medal in the endurance open jet ski event at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, contributing to the Philippines’ medal haul in jet ski competitions. 

The athlete, grandson of maritime pioneer Tomas Cloma and son of PAMI president Czar Cloma-Manglicmot II, began his sports journey as a swimmer and triathlete before focusing on jet skiing. 

After returning from studies in Boston, he trained under coach BJ Ang at Networx Jetsports Subic, quickly advancing from novice to professional ranks. 

Manglicmot now competes internationally against top jet ski athletes, demonstrating skill and perseverance in extreme racing events. 

He joined fellow Filipino riders Lorenzo Pontino, Anton Ignacio, Kristine Kate Mercado, Angelo Inigo Ventus, Louie Buhisan, and Felix Pontino under the national team managed by the JetSports Association of the Philippines (JSAP).
