Eliana Atienza opened up in an interview with Vicky Morales on 24 Oras about her heartbreak following the passing of her younger sister Emman Atienza, who died at age 19 on October 22.
She fondly recalled their childhood memories — especially driving down EDSA or Osmeña Highway with their heads out the car window, enjoying the wind together.
Eliana admitted she still struggles to believe Emman is gone, saying, “I keep being really sad because we were supposed to grow old together.”
In her emotional message to Emman, Eliana simply said: “Right now, come back. I miss you.” Meanwhile, the Atienza family holds the wake for Emman at Chapel 5 of Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig, and the family continues to highlight her legacy of openness about mental health.
