Former President Rodrigo Duterte responded to former Sen. Leila de Lima’s recent criticisms, advising her to find peace and stating that her actions have shamed future generations.
Duterte dismissed any potential retribution from De Lima, referencing a past video of her at a rock concert with a convicted drug lord.
He also warned the International Criminal Court (ICC) against issuing a warrant for his arrest, asserting that the Philippines is no longer under ICC jurisdiction.
Duterte declared he would personally confront any ICC representative attempting to serve a warrant, threatening to force them to eat the document or face dire consequences.
He insisted that no Philippine authorities should be involved in serving such a warrant.
