Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan donated PHP 300,000 to 20 kariton vendors featured on “It’s Showtime’s” segment “Laro Laro Pick” after being moved by their inspiring stories.
He gave PHP 15,000 each as an early Christmas gift to help ease their daily struggles, expressing a commitment to ongoing support.
The donation was coordinated through host Vice Ganda, who revealed Donny’s emotional reaction to the vendors’ stories and his desire to help.
The show also shared an update on Nanay Rosie, a vendor who has since found a new home thanks to the program’s outreach efforts.
Meanwhile, contestant Edlyn won a PHP 100,000 jackpot on the segment, highlighting the show’s blend of entertainment and real-life impact.
