Preparations for the upcoming school year are on track, according to DepEd Undersecretary and Spokesperson Michael Poa.
The Department of Education (DepEd) will hold its annual “Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE)” inter-agency coordination meeting on July 3 to ensure a smooth opening of classes on July 29.
The OBE initiative involves various agencies and stakeholders in preparing for the new school year.
Enrollment for students not covered by the early registration period will run from July 3 to 26.
Following Vice President Sara Duterte’s resignation as Education Secretary, DepEd is working towards a seamless transition to Senator Sonny Angara, who will take over on July 19.
