Katherine Cassandra Ong, a stakeholder of Whirlwind Corporation, has been transferred to the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW), according to House of Representatives Secretary General Reginald Velasco.
The transfer occurred on Wednesday, as confirmed in a statement released on Thursday.
Despite her new detention location, the House retains jurisdiction over Ong.
Velasco emphasized that the legislative body continues to oversee her status.
