CAMERON YOUNG CLINCHES FIRST PGA TOUR WIN AT WYNDHAM

Cameron Young finally captured his first PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship, dominating with a wire-to-wire win after seven career runner-up finishes. 

Young surged with five straight birdies early in his round, coasting to a 2-under 68 and finishing at 22-under 258, tying the tournament record. 

On the Ladies European Tour, Japan’s Miyu Yamashita clinched her first major at the Women’s British Open, holding off Charley Hull with a bogey-free back nine and a final-round 70. 

Over on the Korn Ferry Tour, Julian Suri claimed his first win since 2017 with a 63 at the Utah Championship, jumping to 16th in the points list as he eyes a PGA Tour card. 

With the regular PGA season now closed, the top 70 players advance to the FedEx Cup postseason, with Chris Kirk securing the last-minute spot.
