Filipino-Canadian actor Gordon Cormier, who portrays Aang in the live-action adaptation of “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” expresses joy at being in the Philippines for the show’s promotion.
In a press conference, Cormier shared his excitement about being back in his homeland after the pandemic kept him away. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception and praised the Philippines.
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated series has finally premiered in the Philippines and is now available for streaming on Netflix.
Alongside Cormier, the show features Kiawentiio as Katara, Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko, and Ian Ousley as Sokka. “Avatar: The Last Airbender” originally aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008.
