Ariana Grande has jokingly warned of potential jail time for fans who leak her unreleased music, particularly her track “Fantasize.”
Speaking on the Zang Sang Show, Grande addressed the issue of leaked demos, clarifying that “Fantasize” was not intended for release without her consent as it was written for a TV show.
She emphasized her efforts to feature a different version of the song in her upcoming album due to the leak.
Last year, the song was leaked on Spotify by a user named Adriana Venti, amassing 70,000 streams and briefly making it to the Philippines’ Spotify Daily Top Songs list before being taken down.
The leaked demo also gained traction on TikTok following a viral dance inspired by it.
Grande previously urged the public to refrain from releasing her songs after a screenshot of her comment on the leaked music circulated online in September.
