ALLAIN GANAPIN PUNCHES TICKET TO PARIS PARALYMPICS!

Para taekwondo ace Allain Ganapin has secured a spot as the Philippines’ third representative in the upcoming 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

The 25-year-old athlete earned his qualification by defeating Sandeep Singh Maan of India in the K44 men’s -80kg category at the Asian Qualifying Tournament held in China.

Ganapin’s victory marks his second consecutive qualification for the Paralympics, joining para swimmers Angel Otom and Ernie Gawilan.

Ganapin aims to redeem himself after facing setbacks in the previous Paralympics in Tokyo, where he had to withdraw due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.
