The House of Representatives launched the Alagang Kongreso program on March 18, a three-part initiative providing support for retirees, a centralized public assistance desk, and an executive health check-up package for House personnel.
The program’s first segment, Dakilang Yugto, recognizes retired secretariat staff and provides ongoing support through a dedicated microsite.
The second segment, Suporta sa Bayan Desk, serves as a central hub for processing public requests for medical, financial, social, and emergency support.
The final segment, the HRep Executive Check-Up Program, provides House members and personnel with comprehensive preventive medical examinations, with benefits ranging from P30,000 to P75,000, depending on rank.
House officials said the initiative aims to make care more visible, promote workforce wellness, and ensure timely support for both employees and the public.
