The South Korean drama “Queen of Tears” has achieved record-breaking viewership ratings for its network tvN.
The finale of the series received a viewership rating of 24.9 percent, surpassing the previous record set by “Crash Landing on You.”
“Queen of Tears,” which consists of 16 episodes and is available for streaming on Netflix, tells the story of Hong Hae-in, a conglomerate heiress, who finds herself rekindling her love with her husband, Baek Hyun-woo, after learning about her terminal illness.
In addition, actor Kim Soo-hyun, who stars in the drama, released a song titled “Way Home” for the series’ official soundtrack. Some other notable tvN dramas include “Goblin,” “Vincenzo,” and the “Reply” series.
