Senator Bong Go, in collaboration with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), led the Malasakit sa Kooperatiba Ceremonial Check Awarding at the Royce Convention Center in Zamboanga City on June 30.
The event saw 23 cooperatives from across Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) receiving P50,000 each from the CDA as part of its program supported by Senator Go, aimed at empowering cooperatives nationwide.
Senator Go emphasized that these funds are intended to enhance livelihood opportunities within the cooperatives and can be used as capital for members’ businesses.
Alongside Zamboanga del Norte officials, Senator Go also distributed additional support items like grocery packs and sports equipment, highlighting his commitment to cooperative development and community improvement.
