She recognized their sacrifices in developing the intelligence, character, and potential of Filipino youth.
Duterte expressed her gratitude for their contributions to education and the progress of the country.
She also wished teachers strength, health, and inspiration as they continue to guide the next generation toward a strong Philippines.
World Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually to recognize educators’ impact and commemorate the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation on teachers’ rights and responsibilities.
