Vice President Sara Duterte criticized President Marcos during a rally in front of the ICC detention facility in The Hague, accusing him of pretending to be kind to distance himself from his father’s dictatorship.
She said Marcos wants to project a “lowkey” and kind image, but has not supported her programs despite claiming otherwise.
Duterte emphasized that, as president, Marcos holds ultimate authority over government decisions and questioned the lack of major infrastructure projects three years into his term.
She also noted that continuity in leadership is crucial for completing big-ticket projects within a president’s six-year term.
Duterte is currently in The Hague until July 23 and was joined at the rally by Senator Robin Padilla, BB Gandanghari, and lawyer Jimmy Bondoc.
