THREE WITNESSES TO TESTIFY IN VP’S SECRET FUNDS CASE

COA supervising auditor Xylene Mae del Campo is set to continue testifying before the Senate impeachment court on the remaining audit of Vice President Sara Duterte’s confidential funds.

Three more witnesses are also expected to testify, including a House official and special disbursing officers from the OVP and DepEd.

House prosecutors said the disbursing officers will shed light on how the confidential funds were spent.

Duterte’s confidential fund releases totaled P612.5 million, including P500 million for the OVP and P112.5 million for DepEd.

House prosecutors also praised COA and NBI officials for testifying despite reported threats during the impeachment trial.
