Parañaque Rep. Brian Raymund Yamsuan thanked DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon for his quick response to flooding in the city.
Yamsuan cited Dizon’s personal visit to the flood-prone Fourth Estate area to assess immediate and long-term solutions.
He assured residents that he would coordinate with Dizon to address the city’s flooding problems.
Yamsuan also urged residents to properly dispose of garbage and keep waterways clear.
Meanwhile, DPWH is working on flood-control measures, including creek dredging, a flood interceptor project, upgraded dikes, and detention basins.
