TEAM NORTH DOMINATES ICTSI ELITE JUNIOR FINALS CHAMPIONSHIP

Team North claimed the ICTSI North vs South Elite Junior PGT Championship title despite the challenging conditions brought by Typhoon Paolo, finishing with a convincing 26½–21½ victory at The Country Club.

Dominating from the start, North swept the Four-ball format and held on through hard-fought Foursomes and Singles matches, with standout moments including Vito Sarines’ dramatic chip-in on the final hole.

South mounted a late rally, narrowing the gap, but North’s consistent teamwork and individual talent ultimately secured the win.

Team North captain’s representative Joey Anciano credited the victory to strong teamwork, strategy, and the players’ resilience amid tough weather.

The tournament showcased rising Filipino junior golf stars, highlighting North’s dominance and South’s spirited performance across multiple age divisions.
