Sofronio Vasquez, the first Filipino and Asian winner of The Voice USA, is back in the Philippines to celebrate his victory and connect with his roots.
The 32-year-old performer will hold his first major concert in Cebu on January 18, coinciding with the Sinulog Festival, where he’ll perform for his fellow Bisaya.
He shared how his journey from past defeats to victory in The Voice inspired him to persist and never lose hope.
