The Philippine Senate has reiterated the procedures for requesting the Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALNs) of incumbent senators. According to Senate Secretary Renato Bantug Jr., the release will follow existing Policy Order No. 2019-001, which allows the posting of approved SALN summaries on the Senate website. Requests for more detailed SALN information must include a notarized letter stating the purpose, in compliance with Republic Act No. 6713. Such detailed data can only be disclosed with the written consent of the concerned senator. To protect privacy, sensitive information like home addresses, minor children’s names, and ID numbers will be redacted.
