The Sports Nutrition Association of the Philippines (SNAP), the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), and the Philippine Association of Nutrition are collaborating to host the 1st Philippine Sports Nutrition Summit on August 15 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia.
SNAP President Sharafiyah Batua-Mambuay highlighted the summit as a significant milestone, noting that registration fees will be waived for national and para-athletes.
PSC Commissioner Matthew “Fritz” Gaston will deliver the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of sports nutrition alongside other sports science disciplines.
The summit will feature discussions on topics such as Nutrition Periodization, Overtraining Syndrome, and Mental Resilience.
Mambuay will present on “Integrating Sports Science and Nutrition for Peak Performance,” among other key topics.
