San Miguel Beer ensured a memorable night for June Mar Fajardo, who received his 10th PBA Best Player of the Conference award, by defeating the Meralco Bolts 111-101 in Game 4 of the Philippine Cup title series.
Fajardo led the charge with 28 points and 13 rebounds, helping the Beermen tie the series at 2-2. CJ Perez and Marcio Lassiter contributed 22 and 18 points respectively, while Vic Manuel made a notable impact off the bench.
The victory prevented the defending champions from falling into a 1-3 hole in the series.
The teams will face off again in Game 5 tomorrow at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
