In a bid to encourage voter registration for the upcoming midterm elections, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has collaborated with three major mall chains—SM Supermalls, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, and Robinsons Malls.
The memorandum of agreement, signed by Comelec Chair George Erwin Garcia and mall representatives, aims to facilitate the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) and attract an additional three million voters before the 2025 elections.
The RAP allows registrants to update, correct, reactivate, or transfer their voter registration at partner malls, ensuring convenience and efficiency.
Garcia emphasized the swift registration process, which can be completed in as little as five to 10 minutes.
Voter registration for the 2025 midterm elections will be open from February 12 to September 30, providing ample opportunity for Filipinos to participate in shaping the nation’s future.
