Senator Bong Go urged government officials to be proactive and responsive amid the ongoing oil crisis, stressing the need for constant readiness and swift action.
Speaking at the Vice Mayors League of the Philippines (VMLP) Caraga Region event during Araw ng Dabaw, he said public servants should be available 24/7 to address the crisis.
Go also thanked constituents in Caraga for helping him become the top senator in the 2025 elections and reaffirmed his commitment to public service as a “neighbor” ready to help.
During the gathering, he recognized key regional VMLP officials and introduced his son, Davao Oriental Vice Mayor Christian Lawrence Go, to attendees.
He emphasized that leadership should extend beyond legislation, highlighting the importance of investing in youth and grassroots service.
