On Monday, President Marcos introduced new electronic systems to make government services easier and more efficient.
These systems are called eLGU and eReport, which aim to reduce bureaucracy and address criminal issues in the country.
The eLGU covers many local government services, such as business permits, taxes, health certificates, and more. It will help simplify government processes and make them faster.
Meanwhile, the eReport allows citizens to report crimes, fires, and emergencies quickly. This will help the police and relevant departments respond faster to keep everyone safe.
Both eLGU and eReport are part of the eGov PH Super App, which brings together various government services in one place using technology.
President Marcos believes that these new programs will change how the government and citizens interact, using technology to make things better.
The President hopes they will help reduce crime and ensure quick responses to emergencies all over the country, making communities safer for everyone.
President Marcos also encouraged all government agencies and local governments to work together with the Department of Information and Communications Technology to make the eGov PH Super App effective.
He also asked for cooperation in streamlining the requirements for building telecommunications and internet infrastructure.
