President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is scheduled to visit Germany and the Czech Republic next week, as announced by the Presidential Communications Office.
Invited by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Czech President Petr Pavel, Marcos and First Lady Maria Louise Araneta-Marcos will undertake a working visit and state visit, respectively, from March 11 to March 15.
These visits aim to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between the Philippines and the two nations.
Marcos will engage with business leaders to boost trade and investment opportunities and connect with Filipino communities abroad.
This trip follows Marcos’s recent participation in the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit in Melbourne and meetings with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in Canberra.
These upcoming visits mark the fifth and sixth foreign trips for Marcos this year.
