Long-time politician and former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, who also served as President Marcos’ chief legal counsel, has passed away at the age of 101.
His daughter, Katrina Ponce Enrile, announced that he died peacefully at home on Thursday, November 13, surrounded by family.
She said it was his wish to spend his final moments at home with loved ones by his side.
Enrile dedicated much of his life to public service, and the family asked for privacy as they grieved.
Details for public viewing will be shared once arrangements are finalized.
