Filipino math prodigies are preparing to compete in at least nine international mathematics contests in the third quarter of 2025.
The Philippine math team has already won 139 medals this year from competitions in Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore.
In the recent STEMCO International Mathematics Competition in Singapore, all 39 Filipino participants won medals, including 14 golds, 14 silvers, and 11 bronzes.
Upcoming contests include events in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, and Macau.
The team’s members were selected through MTG’s extensive training programs, which involved thousands of students nationwide.
