PH AND US AIR FORCES COLLABORATE IN PATROL OVER WEST PHILIPPINE SEA

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) and the United States Pacific Air Force (PACAF) conducted a joint patrol over the West Philippines Sea (WPS) as part of the 3rd Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA).

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) announced that three PAF FA-50s accompanied a B-52H bomber aircraft of PACAF from west of Ilocos Sur to Mindoro Strait.

The activity aims to enhance interoperability and advance regional peace and security in the Indo-Pacific, while also strengthening the AFP’s capability to maintain presence over the Philippines’ exclusive economic zone.

The PAF emphasized the cooperative nature of the activity and its commitment to supporting AFP efforts in safeguarding national territory and upholding regional peace and security.
