PARAÑAQUE OPENS EVACUATION CENTERS FOR HUNDREDS OF RESIDENTS

A total of 177 families or 562 individuals have sought shelter in seven evacuation centers in Parañaque City as continuous habagat rains triggered evacuations.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez ordered authorities to monitor flood-prone areas and keep evacuation centers ready.

Ten evacuation centers across five barangays are open to accommodate more residents if flooding worsens.

Barangay San Isidro recorded the highest number of evacuees, with 259 people seeking shelter.
