Students from the two largest tertiary schools in Oriental Mindoro conducted internal surveys on the May 12 midterm elections, with former senators Francisco Pangilinan and Bam Aquino topping the senatorial race.
At Divine Word College of Calapan, Aquino led with 71.2%, followed by Pangilinan at 67.6%, while Mindoro State University saw Pangilinan at 64.5% and Aquino at 59.4%.
Other notable names in the senatorial rankings include Heidi Mendoza, Leody de Guzman, Luke Espiritu, and Ping Lacson.
For the gubernatorial race, incumbent Gov. Humerlito Dolor led both surveys, while Vice Gov. Jojo Perez also emerged as the top choice for vice governor.
Both schools clarified that their survey results do not reflect the opinions of their administrations.
