A recent Tugon ng Masa survey conducted by OCTA Research revealed that a majority of Filipinos expressed satisfaction with the accomplishments of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
According to the survey, 86% of adult Filipinos said they were satisfied with the AFP’s performance, while 87% expressed trust in the country’s military.
The AFP received consistently high ratings for trust and satisfaction throughout 2023, emerging as one of the most trusted and top-performing government agencies.
The satisfaction ratings for the armed forces were over +85 in all areas of the country, except for the National Capital Region, where it scored a +73 rating.
The survey data was gathered through face-to-face interviews of 1,200 respondents from December 10 to December 14, 2023, with a ±3% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.
This latest survey showed a slight improvement compared to the previous poll, where the AFP scored a satisfaction rating of 85%.
